Mike Lambert - Guitar & Vocals
Mike started playing guitar at the age of 14. His greatest influences are Neal Schon, Alex Lifeson, Joe Perry, David Gilmour & Glen Campbell. Mike has a great ear for music and can play just about anything. Mike is a great songwriter and has written several songs which August 83 recorded on their "Music From Bedrooms" CD. In addtion to playing and singing in August 83 & Spare Parts Mike also performs in other bands including the Praise and Worship band at CyFair Christian Church and also a new project-A Tribute to Led Zeppelin. Mike is married to Linda Lambert and they have two boys. High school sweethearts, they have been performing together since they met in their High School choir.
